Remembrance Sunday in Penarth | Sul y Cofio

I attended the Remembrance Sunday parade, wreath-laying and service in Penarth. It was an honour to stand with serving personnel and veterans, cadets, the Royal British Legion, representatives of local Armed Forces organisations and charities, our schools, Councillors and other local representatives. 

It was very moving, as was the service in All Saints Church, and so well supported by members of the public. Many thanks to the organising committee – a voluntary team of Penarth veterans and serving personnel from all arms of HM Armed Forces, in collaboration with the RBL and the Ex-Serviceman’s Club.

Mynychais pared Sul y Cofio, gosod torchau a gwasanaeth ym Mhenarth.  Roedd yn anrhydedd sefyll gyda'r phersonél sy'n gwasanaethu a'r cyn-filwyr, cadetiaid, Lluoedd Arfog Brenhinol Prydain, cynrychiolwyr o sefydliadau Lluoedd Arfog lleol ac elusennau, ein hysgolion, Cynghorwyr a cynrychiolwyr lleol eraill.

Roedd yn achlysur deimladwy, fel yr oedd y gwasanaeth yn Eglwys All Saints, a roedd e wedi cael i cefnogi mor dda gan aelodau o’r cyhoedd.

Diolch dros ben i'r pwyllgor trefnu - tîm gwirfoddol o gyn-filwyr Penarth a phersonél sy'n gwasanaethu o bob cangen o’r Lluoedd Arfog, mewn cydweithrediad â'r RBL a Chlwb Cyn-Fylwyr.
