Co-op café in Cardiff Bay | Café Co-op ym Mae Caerdydd

It was great to visit Co-op’s pop-up cafe in Cardiff Bay and meet lots of the team!

The event gave Co-op member-owners a chance to chat - over a coffee and other goodies - about how we can all work together to help our communities thrive.

There are many co-operatives operating locally in our area - which has a long co-op tradition!

As a proud Co-op Party MP with co-op heritage in my own family going back to the 1800s, I’m committed to growing the co-operative and mutual economy and supporting innovative and ethical work, from promoting Fairtrade to supporting community energy.

Roedd hi’n arbenning i ymweld a café pop-up y Co-op ym Mae Caerdydd a chwrdd a cymaint o’r tîm.

Roedd y digwyddiad yn rhoi aelodau-perthnegwyr siawns i sgwrsio dros coffi a danteithion am sut gallen ni gweithio gydai’n gilydd i helpu ein cymunedau ffynu.

Mae yna llawer o co-op’s yn ein ardal ni – ardal gyda traddodiad hanesyddol o mudiadau cydweithredol.

Fel Aelod Seneddol San Steffan balch o’r Coop , a fel rhywyn gyda hanes o mudiadau cydweithredol yn fy’ngheulu yn mynd nol i’r 1800au, dwi’n bwriadu gweithio tuag at tyfu economi y Co-op a chefnogi’r gwaith arloesol a amoesegol -o hybu Masnach Deg i cefnogi egni cymunedol.
